How to tell which one you have
- Zhorn's Stickies puts notes straight on your desktop, each in its own small window, with an icon near the clock. It comes from zhornsoftware.co.uk.
- stickies.lol keeps notes in a thin strip at the edge of your screen that fans out when you move the mouse there. It comes from stickies.lol or the Microsoft Store.
And on a Mac, "Stickies" is Apple's built-in app, which is different again.

/commands; - you're on Windows 11 and want an app that's built and tested for it.
Can I move notes from one to the other?
Not directly. stickies.lol can't import from Zhorn's Stickies. If you're switching with a few notes, copying them over by hand is quickest.
